Birth Doula Services

A Birth doula is a certified, trained professional who provides continuous emotional support and physical comfort measures throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.  

I am able to suggest different coping strategies to deal with the challenges of labor. These comfort measures will include a variety of recommended positions, massage and breathing techniques. Evidence-based information will also be provided in relation to making decisions about medical interventions to include: induction, pain medications, procedures and cesarean. I will work closely with your support team in creating an atmosphere of calm and reassurance, facilitating a peaceful experience overflowing with a positive birth story memory. 

Birth Doula Services include:

• Free meet and greet to get to know each other and discuss any questions or concerns

• Phone and email support throughout pregnancy and postpartum

• 2 Pre-natal visits your choice of location (home, coffee shop, doctor appointment etc..)

• 24/7 On call via phone or text from 37 weeks to Birth

• Continuous labor support for momma and support person including up to 2 hrs. postpartum

• 1 post-partum home visit to process birth and address any issues with breastfeeding, baby and mommy care
